In the Spring 2024 semester, the “Women in Theatre” class at Florida State University (taught by Dr. Sarah Fahmy) and the “Performing Voices of Women” class at the University of Colorado Boulder (taught by Dr. Beth Osnes) collaborated to envision The Butterfly Affect Care Deck. Both classes had a mix of undergraduate and graduate students in a range of fields from theatre to environmental sciences. After experiencing the immersive performance, the students co-created easy to follow creative prompts to correspond to each stage of metamorphosis. Each card includes instructions and a video to follow along the movements.

The Butterfly Affect Care Deck was launched at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW 68) NGO Parallel Events Convening, in March 2024.
